Ordered the DVD boxset on June 20th. Shipped on June 24th. And after exactly 10 working days, I had my ordered, which is excellent for an international order. Perfectly, doubled sealed, excellent packaging. Plus, Tower.com had the lowest prices available, and quite good shipping options. I was in doubt whether I was right for ordering from Tower.com after reading the negative reviews. And I was in shock to find out that positive reviews were limited. Whether a person was so pissed off that wrote a dozen negative reviews, I don't know. But my overall experience with Tower.com was perfect. Would definitely buy again, and would recommend it for all those who are in doubt when... (more)

A simple DVD order could not be completed with Tower.com! I waited 6 weeks for the DVD and still nothing. They were quick to charge my CC but NO DVD and I was NOT able to talk to anyone on the phone...had to leave a message. Go to another place to shop. They don't have it down yet. (more)

The initial order went OK, but got "Lost, the Complete First Season" and it had a duplicate Disc 1 and no Disc 2 in the box. I got an OK to return it, then......waited...and waited...checked in with them via e-mail...then waited...then they cancelled my order (waiting for a replacement) without telling me. But they waited over 2 months before doing that, meanwhile telling me they would ship a replacement. I did get my money back, and watched the series 3 months later than I had planned. (more)

TOWER IS FRAUD!!!!! They stole my money!! I needed my books right away and since the site said "in stock" I order the books and paid extra for the item to be shipped, it has been weeks!!!! my break is over!! and my books still have not been shipped!! When I called customer service, the rep told me that they are waiting for the books to be shipped from the merchant/provider then they will ship it to me and the horrible thing is that Tower charged my card the moment I put in my order, I have never ran into such a problem with any merchant. Pros: Cheap Prices and that's about it. Cons: Poor EVERYTHING-YOU-CAN-POSSIBLY-IMAGINE I need a textbook in time to study for an exam(MCATs). Website clearly said it was in stock. For 5 days straight, the product was never shipped so I called. Customer service agent was not very friendly, not very knowledgeable. Said it took the company 2-4 weeks to deliver a book. REBATES take 2-4 WEEKS not books, cd's, dvd's, etc. Worst experience with a website ever. Full of false promises, and they really get you with shipping. They claim a faster shipping process with the more amount of money you pay. I guess that's true but doesn't really matter when it takes 2-4 weeks to ship the damn product... (more)

Bought a new CD online. No order confirmation but was charged immediately. When it arrived the package was open and the CD was used. After emailing they agreeded to refund after return. I returned the item 3 months ago and still haven't received credit. I emailed customer service and still have no response. This place is a fraud. I'm contacting my credit card co. I would like to warn any consumer who might consider becoming a customer of Tower.com! Caveat emptor! In my opinion, this company engages in the most blatantly fraudulent business activity imaginable. I have never had such a negative experience with any online merchant. When an order is placed, your credit card will be charged immediately for the entire amount, rather than at the time of shipment as most reputable companies do. If you are lucky enough to have your item(s) shipped at all, you likely will wait a month or longer to receive them.
