My husband and I have been fairly satisfied with the Gateway products. Problem is their corporate structure. Our daughter lost her job there twice. We would have bought from another co if we knew they were closing the SD plant again.

We are still setting it up/I am dismayed that the Driver CD shipped with the computer did not work/that we had to go on the internet to find one/I do not intend to use this on the internet/not happy to be required to do so to set it up.

Very dissapointed! Waited ten days and stayed home to sign for delivery only to find out it was never sent and was still waiting to be picked up by UPS and would take another week to get.Did not even offer an apology or expedited shipping. Canceled order

My order actually arrived earlier than I expected! That was a very pleasant surprise! I had no problems whatsoever tracking my order the whole time.

The laptop I ordered CD tray will not open. I have tried to contact gateway more than once by phone. All I get is loud music then when someone does answer the phone they just put you back on hold. I plan to return the laptop.

Gateway has THE WORST cust svc that has EVER existed... They even messed up correcting their problem. I will never recommend purchase from Gateway-I plan on detailing my issues with Gateway at every opportunity so that NO ONE EVER goes to Gateway again.
